About us
Thierry Stravers Art is a young company. Evolved from a passion for art in general we decided to take the next step and start a real company. A company where our expertise in marketing and sales would be of great help.
And we support young, talented and mid-career artists. Every talented artist deserves the opportunity to be seen, to be lauded and, frankly, to rise. So..we are welcoming the next big names around the world in contemporary art.
We like to run our company in a different way. In a personal way. In a fair way. That is why we operate using three rules:
1. Low cost, fair price.
We do not have a fancy office. And we do not have an army of employees working in that fancy office. Unfortunately. Sure, we would like to have one, but by cutting overhead costs we make sure the client pays a fair price and the artist receives a fair price as well. Since we keep costs low we can keep our margin low. It is as simple as that.
2. Full service, the modern way.
Yes..we provide a lot of services. Not only do we sell and promote art. We also restore, frame and store it. We can do this by partnering with the best available specialists. We are not Superman and we can’t do everything. But when everyone does what they do best, the strength of cooperation is evident.
3. Business is personal.
Business can be done in many ways, but has always been a personal thing. That is why we know our clients and we know our artists. And they know us. So… if you do not see what you are looking for we can either find it for you or have it made for you.
“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see”
Edgar Degas
Artist in the Spotlight: Juliette B’art, Paris, France
Juliette B’art, born in the 1960s in Paris, is a painter, plastic artist, sculptor but also an adept of dance and choregraphy.
She started her career in the cinema and photography, participating to many shootings of documentaries and reports. Fond of dance since she was a child, she concentrated on contemporary dance training at the age of 23 and had the opportunity to dance during fashion shows. At the same time, she studied history of art and participated to many theatre workshops.
Influenced by her travels and by great artists like Federico Fellini, Picasso or Niki de Saint Phalle, her work is caracterized by femininity and love of colours. Her paintings represent her story and her life diary: « I paint what I feel and I paint emotions, intimate or linked with love, with environment, social causes or sport and artistic events ».
